Oxeye Daisy

Oxeye daisies grow wherever the ground has been disturbed, the opportunists of the Burren. I think they might be my favourite Burren flower. Partly for the opportunism and mostly because they look fantastic. If you look closely into the centre you see that the yellow... somethings (stamens?) are arranged in a spiral patterns (actually a Fibonacci sequence for the mathematicians out there). Cool.
