Black Head from Bishop's Quarter

Black Head is seen here from Bishop's Quarter near Ballyvaghan. Black Head is a great place to hike: easy going underfoot, a big ring fort to look at half-way up, and then spectacular views across Galway Bay towards Connemara from the top. It also has a special magic that I don't know how to describe. You have to go there. I recommend kite flying from the summit.
