Fahee South

To the East of the Perfumery is a high, lonely plateau criss-crossed by drystone walls. it is a place of hidden beauty: rich in flowers in Spring and Summer, and red with grasses, bracken and haws in the Winter. There are ring forts here, or fairy rings as they are also called, old lichened walls, caves, springs, and, strangest of all, a cottage built into a huge dolmen that dates back over 5000 years.
