Looking North from Ben Rua

A November walk can be rewarding in the Burren, for even on the darkest days, the low winter sun breaks through at times and the mountains are lit with golden light. On Ben Rua (the red mountain) the winter grasses are kindled by this light and one can readily see how it gets its name.
