This little waterfall rushes down near the road between the Perfumery and Slieve Carran National Park, around about Coolnatullagh. It only appears briefly after heavy rain as the water from Gortaclare hurries down into the lush little valley of Coskeam before disappearing underground into the myriad caves of the Burren. The Burren is fun after a big rainstorm; springs bubble up in the valley floor, streams appear and disappear (the Seven Streams of Glasgeivnagh being the most spectacular example) and cavers head for the surface with great alacrity. Photographed July 2004.
