Rushes in Carran Turlough

This was taken at the end of July 2004 in the turlough behind the Perfumery. Slightly unusual to have water in it at that time of the year, must've rained heavily in the previous week. Among all the orchids in bloom at this time of the year it's important not to overlook the other, simpler beauties to be seen in the Burren.
