Oxeye Daisies

Oxeye daisies are among my favourite Burren flowers (though they grow plentifully outside the Burren too). Where the earth has been disturbed they are particularly like to appear in great abundance, forming a mass of swaying white stars. Roadsides are often brightened by these flowers and the relatively new bypass around Galway has banks of them throughout the summer.
