Harebells and Oxeye Daisies

Sometimes when the ground has been churned up by cattle feeding from silage bales in the winter, the following summer sees a mass of mixed flowers emerge as dormant seeds are moved to the surface. Here purple harebells are mingled with oxeye daisies. This bank of flowers was photographed from the roadside within a few hundred metres of the Perfumery, August 2004.
