False Oxlip

False Oxlip

The False Oxlip is, as far as I know (and I'm not a botanist!) a cross between a primrose and a cowslip. It, unsurprisingly perhaps, looks like a cross between the two, having flowerheads that look just like primroses that are perched on the end of stems borrowed from the cowslip. Gosh, what an exciting botanical analysis that was. I think I might need to have a rest after all that deep thinking...
