Limestone Boulder

On the slopes of Knockanes I came across this massive boulder that looked like it had fallen off something where there was nothing to have fallen off. It might have been a glacial erratic (a boulder deposited by retreating glaciers) but it didn't have the rounded shape that most erratics seem to have. Whatever it was I liked the way it echoed the shape of the big cumulus clouds that day as well and the outlines of Slieve Carran and Turloughmore in the distance.
