Fern Glade

This ferny glade is at the bottom of the hill Caher Commaun is on, near the Perfumery. Caher Commaun is a semi-circular ring fort built on the edge of a cliff , like its more famous relation Dun Aengus on Inis Mor in the Aran Islands. The narrow gully that runs along the base of the cliff is a struggle to get through but it has amazing ferns and mosses.
